Made From Meteors is an original space rock band, homegrown from Frederick, Maryland’s fertile musical soil. The band prides themselves in writing original, atmospheric-yet-driven rock music that’s as enjoyable to create as it is to listen to.

MFM was was formed in 2022, when members of Frederick local band Hybrid Rose (Scott Blecman, Lucas Miller, Colin Walters) reunited after over a decade apart, during which:

• Scott played with MD local cover bands Secondhand Ramblers, The Learned Doctors, and the Freddie Long Band, and also accompanied Dueling Piano bands in the region
• Lucas played with original band The Permian out in Colorado
• Colin played with a Baltimore original band, Weatherly
