Exist
Exist is a progressive metal band from Maryland led by guitarist and vocalist Max Phelps, best known as the current voice of Death To All, the official touring tribute featuring members of Death and Testament. Alongside his work with Death To All, Phelps has also performed with Cynic and Defeated Sanity, solidifying his place among the most versatile musicians in progressive death metal. The band also includes bassist Alex Weber (Revocation, Svengahli), drummer Brody Taylor Smith (Invent Animate) and guitarist Charlie Eron (WAIT), forming one of the most skilled and dynamic lineups in the modern progressive metal scene.
Greylotus
Greylotus is a progressive technical death metal band from Baltimore, Maryland. Their music moves between dense, technical riffing, bursts of controlled chaos and more atmospheric, melodic passages, often weaving in orchestral, acoustic and electronic textures. Often mentioned alongside artists such as Fallujah, Animals as Leaders, Shadow of Intent, Lorna Shore, Beneath the Massacre, Abiotic and Wormhole, Greylotus is regarded as a promising presence within the modern progressive and technical death metal landscape.
Dawn of Ouroboros
Dawn of Ouroboros was formed by guitarist Tony Thomas (also of Cailleach Calling, Botanist) and vocalist Chelsea Murphy (Cailleach Calling). DAWN OF OUROBOROS channels the ferocity of black, progressive, and death metal into a sound as atmospheric as it is crushing. Their songwriting is often praised for their unique approach – favoring emotional intensity and complexity through harmonic textures.
