The Moran Tripp Band is a rock and roll band from Edgewater, MD. Their influences include The Allman Brothers, Little Feat, Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Grateful Dead.
Shane Tripp and Ryan Moran met in 2018 at Blair’s Londontown Pub at Wolf’s weekly blues jams. They formed the band in 2020 practicing in industrial garages, and playing the local Annapolis bar scene.
Thomas Coster joined the band in 2021 as bass player. Tommy is a multi-instrumentalist and has played with several bands including the Ryan Keith Band, and Mountainwolf. Dru Tucker joined the band in 2023 as drummer. Dru is a DCI alum and has been a staple of the Annapolis music scene in bands such as Morningside and Over Under.
In February of 2022, The Moran Tripp Band became a weekly band at the legendary Madams Organ in Adams Morgan.
In January of 2024, The Moran Tripp Band released their debut self-titled record. The record was recorded at Severn Sound Studios and Mixed at Wright Way Studios. Their release party sold out Cult Classic in Stevensville, MD, and included opening performances from both Dwayne Haggins, and Ben Brandt and the Soul Miners Union. The Moran Tripp Band plans to release their sophomore record in October of 2024.
Sneaky Heat is an Alternative Rock band from Baltimore, crafting an ever growing catalog of original music that comes to life on their studio recordings and energetic live performances.
Sneaky Heat first aligned and played on stage in late 2019. After using the years of the pandemic to write and develop their signature sound, the band is now capturing the attention of live music enthusiasts in Baltimore and beyond.
Sneaky Heat encapsulates their sound by drawing from influences that span from Classic Rock to 90s Grunge, Jazz to Folk, and Bluegrass to Thrash Metal. With crafty songwriting and catchy lyrics, Sneaky Heat’s music is filled with emotion and passion.
The band’s debut album “Cold Light” includes staples like ‘Fox Fur’, ‘Brought Me Here’ and ‘Sinatra’. Sneaky Heat’s first live album, ”Live at The Recher” was released in 2022 which showcases the band’s polished live performance and includes other essential Sneaky Heat tracks like ‘Latin Opera’ and ‘Back In The Water’.
Along with adding more live performances to the show schedule in and around Baltimore, the band is recording and will release new studio material in 2024.
